TGFBR2 antibody can be used for detection of TGFBR2 by ELISA at 1:312500. TGFBR2 antibody can be used for detection of TGFBR2 by western blot at 5.0 μg/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
TGFBR2 is a member of the Ser/Thr protein kinase family and the TGFB receptor subfamily. The protein is a transmembrane protein that has a protein kinase domain, forms a heterodimeric complex with another receptor protein, and binds TGF-beta. This receptor/ligand complex phosphorylates proteins, which then enter the nucleus and regulate the transcription of a subset of genes related to cell proliferation. Mutations in its gene have been associated with Marfan Syndrome, Loeys-Deitz Aortic Aneurysm Syndrome, and the development of various types of tumors. This gene is a member of the Ser/Thr protein kinase family and the TGFB receptor subfamily. Alternate transcriptional splice variants, encoding different isoforms, have been characterized.
