Application Note:
FMO3 antibody can be used for detection of FMO3 by ELISA at 1:1562500. FMO3 antibody can be used for detection of FMO3 by western blot at 0.5 μg/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
Background:
FMO3 is involved in the oxidative metabolism of a variety of xenobiotics such as drugs and pesticides. It N-oxygenates primary aliphatic alkylamines as well as secondary and tertiary amines. It acts on TMA to produce TMA-N-oxide.
