ScienCell's GeneQuery™ Human Endothelial Cell Biology qPCR Array Kit (GQH-END) is designed to facilitate gene expression profiling of 88 key genes to help characterize endothelial cells. Examining the expression levels of included genes can help determine endothelial cell status and condition. Brief examples of how included genes may be grouped according to function are shown below:
- Junctional proteins: - CDH2, CDH5, CLDN5, GJA1, VCL
- Motility: - BMP1, MMP2, ITGB1, ITGB3, SEMA3F
- Cell cycling, growth, and death: - CDC42, FOXO1, ALK1, SOD1, CFLAR
- Inflammatory response: - STAT1, EDNRA, PDGFB, ACE, TRADD
- Coagulation response: - SERPINE1, PLAT, SELP, NOD1, CD40
GeneQuery™ qPCR array kits are qPCR ready in a 96-well plate format, with each well containing one primer set that recognizes and efficiently amplifies a specific target gene's cDNA. The carefully designed primers ensure that: (i) the optimal annealing temperature in qPCR analysis is 65°C (with 2 mM Mg^2+ and no DMSO); (ii) the primer set recognizes all known transcript variants of the target gene, unless otherwise noted; and (iii) only one gene is amplified. Each primer set has been validated by qPCR with melt curve analysis and gel electrophoresis.
