IPSC+ESC Products
Specialty differentiation media that is finely tuned for the differentiation of human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC) and embryonic stem cells (ESC).
The CnT-30 (CnT-Prime iPS Epithelial Differentiation Medium) and CnT-PR-EF (CnT-Prime Epithelial Culture Medium, EGF/FGF-Free) iPSC differentiation media achieve complete differentiation by shifting the focus away from highly proliferative growth factors that can impede differentiation.
As a result, these media are highly effective at guiding iPSC and ESC down epithelial differentiation lineages.
iPS Epithelial Differentiation Medium (CnT-30)
CnT-30 is a chemically defined medium for differentiation of human iPSC and ESC down corneal and epidermal epithelial lineages.
A variety of differentiation protocols have been used successfully with this product and can easily be upgraded for clinical applications.
One example of differentiation into corneal epithelium followed by proteomic comparison of iPSC-derived vs primary limbal cells was published in Nature Scientific Reports (Mikhailova et al. 2015).

iPSC Corneal Differntiation Medium (CNT-PR-EF)
CnT-PR-EF is an animal component free medium for differentiation of human iPSC and ESC down corneal lineages.
For detailed instructions of how CnT-PR-EF can be supplemented to induce iPSC to differentiate into corneal epithelium, please see Nature Protocols (Hayashi et al. 2017).

A variety of differentiation protocols have been used successfully with these media, examples can be found in the section above. Differentiation of ESC down epithelial lineages (such as epidermis) has also been completed successfully using the CnT-07 Medium (PCT Epidermal Keratinocyte Medium).
